August 3rd, 2010 - Day one at the Pan American Championships in San José, Vincent Pelletier made his best ever result at Pan American Championships - placing 3rd. Over a grueling 12 hour schedule where he defeated his teammate Tigran Bajgoric in a close bout that went into overtime tied 14/14 to make top 8. He then fenced top ranked Weston Kelsey in a close match that also went to overtime tied 7/7 - which he managed to win with 20 second remaining in the overtime period. Afterwards, Vincent Pelletier said - "I had 5 bouts go into overtime over the World Cup season - so with that track record I was confident I would be able to pull out a win if I could tie up the bout. " Vincent and his teammates are now focused on their team event later in the week.

Le 3 août 2010 - Jour un des Championnats panaméricain à San José, Vincent Pelletier a fait son meilleur résultat jamais enregistré au Championnats panaméricains - en terminant sur la troisième marche du podium. Au cours des 12 heures où il avait battu son coéquipier Tigran Bajgoric de justesse en allant en prolongation termine 14/14 pour faire le top 8. Par la suite remporte un autre combat en prolongation 7/7 contre un des Américain le mieux classés Weston Kelsey - Pelletier a réussi à gagner avec 20 seconde avant la fin de la période de prolongation. Par la suite, Vincent Pelletier a dit - "j'avais 5 matchs aller en prolongation au cours de la saison de Coupe du monde - donc avec cette feuille de route j'étais confiant, je serais en mesure de sortir d'une victoire si je pouvais attacher le combat. "Vincent et ses coéquipiers sont désormais concentrés sur leur épreuve par équipe plus tard dans la semaine.
