Canadian Fencing Federation is pleased to announce that Johanne Lacas will be taking over from Marie- Hélène Claveau as the High Performance Program Coordinator starting January 4, 2010.

For the past three years Johanne has had a similar position with CanoeKayak Canada and contributed a great deal to the high performance program; supporting the national discipline coaches, athletes and HP Director in preparation for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. Johanne has also been a member of the Canadian national volleyball team from 1976 to 1980. Both her experience as an administrator and athlete will be a tremendous asset to the CFF.

La Fédération canadienne d'escrime est heureuse d'annoncer que Johanne Lacas a accepté la position de Marie- Hélène Claveau en tant que coordonnatrice du programme de haute performance dès le 4 janvier 2010.

Durant les trois dernières années Johanne occupait une position similaire avec CanoeKayak Canada et a contribué un grand nombre d'heures à assister les entraîneurs nationaux, les athlètes et le Directeur du programme de haute performance en préparation pour les Jeux olympiques de Beijing 2008. Johanne a aussi été membre de l'équipe nationale de volleyball de 1976 à 1980. Son expérience en tant qu'administrateur et athlète sera un atout considérable à FCE.
