Due to insufficient bids for the May 19-22, 2011 CSC 1/Cdt Jr Nationals event to be held in the central zone (Manitoba/Ontario) the bidding process has been re-opened to interested bids from any of the three zones (East/Central/West). Bids must be received by the close of business August 13th, 2010.

 FIE Continental Training Program for Foil Coaches

The FCC is accepting applications for the FIE Fencing Masters Certificate Course being held in San Salvador from July 5 to August 8, 2010. Applicants are to follow the application process and send applications to: fcc@fencing.ca. Please note, the applicant chosen for this course is responsible for 50% of the travel cost to San Salvador.
Application deadline: May 26th, 2010.

The Canadian Fencing Federation congratulates R. Sylvie Morel and Pierre Mainville for their performance at the wheelchair fencing World Cup that took place in Montreal this weekend. R. Sylvie Morel won a bronze medal in the foil category and Pierre Mainville also won a bronze medal in the men's sabre B category. Congratulations to our medalists. Next stop for both our Canadian athletes will be at the Lonato del Garda World Cup scheduled in Italy May 21-23, 2010.
