Wendy was born in Taiwan and immigrated to Canada at the age of 5. She began fencing at the University of Ottawa. Wendy holds an Honours Bachelor degree in Commerce from the University of Ottawa (1998) and an MBA with a concentration in Strategy from McGill University (2003). Outside the realm of fencing and work, Wendy has also distinguished herself through her musical studies at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto up to the ARCT level in Piano Performance. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends, watching movies, attending operas, and above all, experiencing different foods.
