Bronze at Pan American Championships
 Day one at the Pan American Championships in Reno,
Hugues Boisvert Simard, epee fencer, finished in third
place in the individual event. This is his second bronze
medal in Pan American Championships following the one
obtained in 2009, in San Salvador.
Canadian epeeists Igor Gantsevich, Vincent Pelletier and
Tigran Bajgoric end respectively 10th, 11th and 12th

women's sabre athlete Sandra Sassine won the
silver medal. This is her second silver medal in Pan
American Championships following the one obtained in

step of the Podium by winning silver medal. Philippe
Beaudry finished 3rd in the individual event to win
the bronze medal.
