Twenty-four teams competed in the Women's Epee Team event for the 2010 World Championships in Paris. Canada, ranked 14th going into the competition had to fence Kirghizistan, ranked 19th in the round of 32's. Our team won the match 45-36.

Then, in the tableau of 16, Canada had to fence against a strong German team, ranked 3rd. Our girls were beaten 45-28 in that match.

Then in the 9th to 16th place ranking matches, Canada first faced Sweden and lost 45-36. The next match was against the Americans, and our girls lost 45-21. However, they gathered their energy and finally beat Ukraine 45-43 to take 15th place of the general ranking of the Championships.

Il y avait 24 équipes inscrites à l'épreuve d'épée féminine au Championnat du monde d'escrime de 2010 à Paris. Le Canada, classé 14e tête de série dans le tableau, devait affronter le Kirghizistan, classé 19e dans le tableau de 32. Nos représentantes ont remporté la victoire par 45 à 36.

Puis, dans le tableau de 16, les Canadiennes se sont heurtées aux solides Allemandes, classées 3e tête de série. Nos représentantes se sont finalement inclinées 45 à 28 dans cette rencontre.

Puis, dans les matches de classement de la 9e à la 16e place, le Canada a d'abord affronté la Suède et a perdu 45-36. Le tour suivant les opposait aux Américaines, mais elles ont dû baisser pavillon 45 à 21. Toutefois, nos Canadiennes se sont reprises face à l'Ukraine qu'elles ont battu 45 à 43 pour finalement s'attribuer la 15e place du classement général du Championnat.
